Flow cytometry is a new high-tech technology

sorting technology that can quickly measure the structure of cells (or subcells).
It quantifies cellular DNA content, cell volume, protein content, enzyme
activity, cell membrane receptors, surface antigens and many other important
parameters through the rapid measurement of Coulter resistance, fluorescence,
