Laser Thread Sensor

The laser thread sensor adopts the principle of laser triangle reflection: the laser beam is amplified to form a laser line that is projected onto the surface of the tested object, the reflected light travels through a high quality optical system, it’s projected onto an imaging matrix, then the distance of the sensor to the measured surface(z-axis) and the position information along the laser line(x-axis) are calculated. By moving the probe of tested object or profiler, a set of three-dimensional measurements can be obtained.
