Responsibilities:
--Contribute as a Laser Engineer in
product development role. This role will
include designing laser systems,
building prototypes and validating
designs for the products as well as successfully
transitioning these solutions to
manufacturing environments.
--The successful candidate will have the
demonstrated ability to complete complex
tasks on schedule while delivering
quality output with a minimum amount of
supervision.
--The ability to function well in a
fast-paced, technically challenging,
multi-disciplinary environment.
--A demonstrated ability in moving tasks
through concept to design to successful
implementation as is the
ability to document procedures and
methods.
--The demonstrated ability to work with
suppliers to define specifications and
to troubleshoot issues.

Position Requirements:
--M.S. or Ph.D. in the field of Physics,
Optics or the equivalent with emphasis
on lasers is preferred.
--Experience with solid state,
mode-locked or Q-switched lasers.
--Experience with designing, building,
and testing lasers as well as optical
components and systems is required.
Experience with laser measurement
equipment—power meters, sensors, beam
profilers, oscilloscopes, pulse
detectors, et cetera—is required.
--Experience with optical measurement
equipment and methods is required.
--Experience with optical systems and
optical alignment methods is required.
--Experience with optical design
programs. |

Responsibilies:
--Take care of customers’ enquiries and provide prompt service support (eg
installation, process optimization, trouble-shooting, maintenance)
--Keep regular contact with customers for their requirements and follow up
outstanding issues, if any
--Develop new customers (both industrial users and research users) on own
initiative
--Managers need to lead a team of engineers and develop new product
lines
◘ Position
Requirements:
--Degree holders (preferably E.E, Physics major) or equivalent with a mature
and independent personality
--Some working experience in Laser or Photonics industry is preferred but not
mandatory. Managers however are required to have related working experience in
specific industry or applications
--Strong self-initiated personality, and good presentation skill is
advantageous
--Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
--Good knowledge about PC operations
--Self motivators with strong drive to achieve business objectives |
